Does short-form video work for a café or restaurant?

By Caner Kümür · 6 July 2026

People look online before they walk in anywhere. What short-form video does and doesn't do for hospitality.

Before someone walks into a new place, they have usually already seen you. On Instagram, on TikTok, in the search results. The question is not whether your guests watch video, but whether your business shows up there.

People watch first. Then they visit.

What works well for hospitality

  • The product in motion. Cheese melting, coffee being poured, a plate leaving the kitchen. This is your strongest material and you have it in house every day.
  • The place itself. People pick a spot for the atmosphere too. Light, music, buzz, the terrace in the sun.
  • The people behind it. A face behind the business makes your brand human. No visual identity can beat that.

What not to expect

No honest maker promises you a full house in a week. Video builds visibility, and visibility builds visits. That takes weeks, not days. Distrust anyone who tells it differently.

What we can say. We built two YouTube channels from zero to more than 250 million views, fully organic. Not with hospitality videos, but with exactly the skills hospitality videos need. A sharp first second, tight editing, every week again. That approach comes with us to your business.

How to start

Pick one video a week you can make yourself, or book a chat and see what a steady rhythm would do for your business. Both beat waiting.
